ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
We believe that the best school for our children is not one that comes out in the media, in ranking or rating of
being a fashionable school, but rather one in which the mother goes in and out with the assurance that the
child is in good hands, both cognitively, as well as - and especially - emotionally.
BBS - Bluebonnet Bilingual School provides concrete, transparent and basic subjects, found in any school, but worked out in a way to win and to touch the student to have a craving for learning, for building hypotheses, researching and to build learning.
The difference of our project is in the student’s routine, which is filled with moments of character formation, virtues, values and active participation in social projects. Thus, we are ensuring the formation of an ethical and responsible citizen to the world in which we live.
DIFFERENTIALS:
- Cultural Exchange Project - Curious Mocking Bird - The student will have the opportunity to learn more about another culture through an exchange with an American school, where the correspondent of all works and researches will be the Mocking Bird, the school’s mascot.
- Social Project: Active Citizen - The student, through various social activities, from organizing a campaign to raise winter clothes or attending an afternoon tea with the elderly, will be developing his citizenship in an active form.
- Bright Readers – this program aims to provide an individualized work of reading in school, where we respect the reading level of each student, encouraging him to have control and enjoyment in reading. The books were carefully selected and follow the American standard of classification by reading level.
- Interactive Board: All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboard, which allows students and teachers to interact with educational software and activities directly on the board.
- ICT - Information and Communications Technology - Students will have the resource of individual netbooks to be used in the classroom as a working tool.
- CTC: Creativity in Science and Technology - The study of Science is the key to position oneself in
the face of increasingly complex issues of our time. The practice of scientific method and investigative learning in
the classroom develops fact-based reasoning, critical thinking, logical thinking and awareness of the impact of the
attitudes of everyone in the world - crucial characteristics to achieve a successful life plan.
When the student realizes that he is the center of his own learning, he becomes self-confident, believes in his dreams and develops, increasingly, the ability to realize them. To assist the educator to lead students on this journey, the school has the support of the CTC, an integrated program for science education throughout Elementary School.
