BILINGUALISM

At Bluebonnet, the child acquires English naturally by subconscious assimilation of the vocabulary and grammatical structures, interacting in informal situations that value the communicative act.

Our teachers communicate only in English and have as a main focus to create situations of authentic communication, aimed at the children’s interests during all activities developed by them, either on a project, at snack time or in a play in the playground.

Bilingualism propitiates cognitive development by promoting:

• Greater creativity and ability to analyze and compare concepts;
• Acquisition of consistent and coordinated verbal constructions;
